Thanks! I've been keeping an eye on your blog for more pictures of Eloise. She certainly is a cutie- I can't wait to meet her!

As for Scotland, it kind of depends on which direction you are from Edinburgh and how much travelling you want to do. I definitely recommend spending at least a day in Edinburgh - the Royal Mile is fun to poke around and it only takes an hour or so to walk the trail around Arthur's Seat, which is a gorgeous walk. Arthur's Seat is probably my favorite thing about Edinburgh; you can take a picnic lunch and eat up on the hillside overlooking the city. Just outside of Edinburgh about 20 minutes is Roslyn Chapel, which is the church where they end up in the DaVinci Code. It's a small chapel, but it's gorgeously decorated. Definitely worth a stop. You can take a bus out there really easily from St. Andrew's Station. Other cool places in Scotland are the Wallace Monument and Stirling castle in Stirling, which is an hour from Edinburgh by train. If you don't mind a bit of travelling, the Isle of Skye, in the Inner Hebrides islands is absolutely beautiful. There's not much to do on it other than hiking and such, but it's lovely scenery. You could also check out Loch Lomond - if you take the train from Glasgow your ticket will be for Balloch and it's about 45 minutes away.

That's what comes to mind right off - there's tons more to do, of course. I'm sure you'll have a great trip. Scotland is lovely!

Great to hear from you - please tell Mel and Eloise I say hi!
